Terms of service.

Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms" or “Terms & Conditions) govern the relationship between Linda-Pass (“instructor”) and the client (“student”) with respect to driving instruction services provided by Linda-Pass. By engaging the Instructor's services, the Client agrees to be bound by these Terms.

About Linda-Pass

Linda-Pass Intensive Driving Courses is a trading name of Linda Robinson. Linda-Pass and all other derivatives of the name are trademarks of Linda Robinson.

Services Provided

Linda-Pass agrees to provide driving instruction services as outlined in the Client’s selected package. Services may include, but are not limited to:

- Theory instruction
- Practical driving lessons
- Mock driving tests
- Specialised training (e.g., nervous drivers, advanced driving)

Booking

Lessons must be scheduled in advance. The Instructor will confirm availability upon receiving a request.

Payment

Payment for lessons are due at the time of booking. Accepted payment methods include bank transfer or cash. Credit / debit cards or finance may be accepted in some circumstances, but fees will apply. All prices are inclusive of applicable taxes.

Client Cancellations

The Client must provide at least 2 weeks notice to cancel an intensive course and 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule a lesson. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee equivalent to the cost of the scheduled lesson.

Instructor Cancellations

In the event that the Instructor must cancel a lesson, the Client will be notified as soon as possible. The lesson will be rescheduled at a mutually convenient time without any additional charge.

Lesson Duration

Lessons are typically between four and five hours long unless otherwise agreed upon. The Instructor reserves the right to adjust the duration of lessons based on circumstances such as traffic conditions or safety considerations. The length of the lesson will be mutually agreed upon when arranged. The Instructor reserves the right to end the lesson early at any time.

Responsibilities of the Client

The Client agrees to:

  • Be available for collection on time for each lesson or to arrive on time for each lesson.

  • Hold a valid provisional UK driving license (if applicable).

  • Notify the Instructor of any medical conditions, disabilities, or other factors that may affect their ability to drive.

  • Inform the Instructor of any prior experience and/or incidents.

  • If a vehicle is provided, to show the vehicle respect, do not intensionally damage or soil the vehicle.

Responsibilities of the Instructor

The Instructor shall:

  • Provide professional and high-quality driving instruction as per guidelines.

  • Hold a approved driving instructor (ADI) licence.

  • Ensure that all vehicles used for instruction are roadworthy, clean and insured.

  • Create a safe learning environment for the Client.

  • Avoid physical contact with the Client except within standard greetings or in an emergency or urgent scenario.

Right of refusal

The Instructor reserves the right to refuse lessons to anyone they see fit, without providing reasoning for the decision. The Instructor also reserves the right to discontinue lessons without providing reasoning and a proportionate refund issued for any overpayment. This right will not contravene any legislation on discrimination.

Liability

The Instructor shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of driving instruction services. The Client acknowledges that they assume all risk associated with learning to drive.

Complaints

All complaints must be made in writing via email to complaints@linda-pass.com and the contents of the email will be reviewed carefully.

If you are still not happy with the outcome of your claim, you are entitled to complain about any ADI instructor to the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) if the Instructor provides lessons shorter than agreed, keeps cancelling or arriving late for lessons, does not provide lessons that you’ve already paid for, uses their mobile phone while you are driving, shouting or swearing at you, using inappropriate language or using unnecessary physical contact. Privacy Policy

Any personal information collected from the Client will be stored securely and used solely for the purpose of providing driving instruction services. The Instructor will not share this information with third parties without prior consent, except as required by law. Linda-Pass may request to use any photographs taken or reviews published as marketing materials for the Linda-Pass website or social media accounts.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England, and any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the United Kingdom of Great Britain & Northern Ireland.

Amendments

Linda-Pass reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Clients will be notified of any significant changes prior to their next scheduled lesson.

Acceptance of Terms

By engaging the Instructor's services, the Client confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service.
